Hello everybody.
You don't know me yet, but my name is (apparently) Cover-Rose, but most of the time I've got the moniker Rosa Canina.
I am a PAL (and somewhat JNTSC) collector from germany, programm my own little games and I write (and sell) books.
Also I have a regular job. Because... nothing pays the bills at the moment, except this lame ass normal job. Hahaha.
I mainly collect ALL THE SYSTEMS. So no favourite here. I just buy what interests me. So some games a quite common,
some games are more expensive and some type of "must have" games are completely missing here.
Well, what I really wanted to show you today is my own collection of just shy of 700 games (< I think this sentence is correct like this?),
with Games ranging from Atari 2600 up until the current generation. Except for die DVD-Style-Games I mostly use my own created
boxes - for a couple of reasons:
- I only have a quite limited amount of space, so I need to stack and fit, with as less air as possible
- I still want Boxes to show my collection, so no loose Cartridge-Stacking for me.
Because of that I barely used the covers from this site 1:1. Instead I opted for my own approach, most of the times with 2 games in
1 Box, sorted by genre. Let's give you a few pictures and talk about that:

This is a nice first example. Here you can see two double-case designs for Atari 2600 and Famicom. I used only Logos and Screenshots
on the famicom boxes, because it's really hard to find printable material for japanese famicom games. Also I use boxes from a german
seller. They are like gift-boxes and don't come near your fancy cases you have in the USA available. But those are REALLY expensive
to import. Like... shipping was almost the cost of the boxes itself...
Also I use high-quality photo-prints, which is pretty cheap here in Germany, because of services in local drugstores (Cewe Fotodruck,
for you german guys). The measurements from them are a little bit of and I needed a few test rounds, but now everything looks
really high quality.

Another Example. Only 1 NES-Games per Box, there is no more room in there. But SNES uses two (and yes, thats not a german Chrono
Trigger. Of course it isn't... *crys in a corner*). Also something I really wanted to talk about... I freaking hate those spines with different
designs on almost ALL consoles. But I still like the original Logo-Artwork of most games. So I recreated the style of all Logos with one single
Font, so everything has a uniform look, but still is recognizable.

Just a example of my N64-Cases. I use advertisement-slogans on the boxes. I think this here was from a PAL advertisement, don't know if
USA had the same slogan back then.
One thing I really despised at first was my newest member in my collection: My Sega Saturn. I ordered a modded Console (Region Mod onyl)
and also quite a few games from Germany and Japan. But WHAT THE FRICKING HELL... every german game I got had a different style and
size for the original box! And I thought the PS3 was a Design-Desaster...
So I made my own design, inspired by the japanese CD-Case-Design:

Oh, and dont cry for the original boxes. I own ALL of my original boxes. I would never throw away my "Resident Evill 2 PAL N64 near mint
condition"-Box. I am not crazy. But I like to play my games. Because of this... I need to open boxes quick and I dont want to accidentely
rip my precious (< gollums voice goes in here) boxes. That's the reason I made all this boxes, effectively.
Last but not least: My whole collection:

Oh, there got a few VHS into that picture...
Like I said, nearly 700 games. Only a few games are not in the picture (mainly because I have a single glass vitrine with some special edition in
there, like my Life Is Strange-Games, Bayonetta Wii U Special Edition etc - or my custom cases for my own games.
So, what does coverproject.net think about this collection. I used your site a lot in the last 2 years, but in the end most of the time you
just delivered the artwork for my own creations. Sorry about that

If someone wants more details about... anything... just ask.
And have a nice day
Also every grammatical error is just for you. Like I said... I am from Germany. While I write my own books - and need English quite often at
my workplace - I am not that good at writing this language.
