Huge Recasing Project
juan0tron:
oooh we might start building the giant shelf sooner than I thought. Just gotta finish painting the room for the washing machine and then after installing it we can get to planning. Guess I'll go with the assumption that I'm accommodating for 180 plus dvd and ds cases, plus the 180 I'll probably buy in the next few years :P

the ONLY bad thing about the cheap as all hell sports games at Gamestop...That Damn Hologram sticker!
I don't know what they use for adhesive, but you can't get them up without mangling the case.
Careful with BRE, they have a lot of good crap, but unless you buy somewhat in bulk, the shipping might kill ya.

oooh how I hate that thing. There was a similar sticker on my copy of MGS3: Subsistance. The case still sticks to whatever it's stacked on top of. And it wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the act that it was the only 2 disc PS2 case I owned :/

Try some Goo Gone on it -- I swear by that stuff. Just recently used some to remove a sticker from my copy of Conan ("Free Conan Lenticular Inside!"...like that's going to be the selling point of the game ::)), worked like a charm to get rid of both the sticker and the residue.
Mick Dundee:
goo gone IS magic. It feels more like an oil than a chemical that breaks down paint, markers, and sticky residue.
They have a Citrus scented Goo Gone too, though I'm not sure if the citrus stuff gets ink out.
