So I have a bunch of DS cases I got for free, and they have covers, most of which are for crappy shovelware games that nobody cares about...

Is there a comprehensive list someplace where I can check before putting time into scanning and touching up — without having to type in each title here? Not looking to dedicate my life to scanning crappy game covers, but would like to provide scans for preservation purposes, as well as making the Cover Project library more complete.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm new to the forums here...

Not a stupid question at all! We do have master lists for a few systems, but unfortunately I don't think anyone has made one for the DS yet. I encourage you to just go ahead and scan everything you have. Maybe some covers have already been scanned, but scanner quality varies dramatically so the covers you provide may be of a higher quality then what's already on the forums. I know it's a lot of work, but every contribution is appreciated. Thanks!

Awesome thanks for the reply. Is it best to share the scans through a 3rd party host, and posting here, or uploading to the Raw Scans section?

The raw scans section is no longer active. Word is that it used too much bandwidth. Create a mediafire account and upload your raw scans there, then share the links here in the forums. I keep a link in my signature so that people can access my covers easily.

Sounds good. I have a side question for you. What is the preference for MediaFire over other services like Google Dtive - set to public? I just see bandwidth and eventually file expiration as an issue with MediaFire.

Thanks again for your help

Any lossless image hosting service is just fine, like Google Drive, Mega, or OneDrive. Don't use services like imgur or imageshack because they compress pictures which creates jpeg artifacts. I personally prefer Mediafire because it automatically creates thumbnails for forum posts.
