So I  was looking through my PS1 collection the other day, and while I was thinking of recasing everything in DVD cases, I realized, where am I going to put all my CD case inserts? I'm definitely not going to throw them out, god knows why, maybe they could still be useful to the site I guess. Or maybe I'll get a rush of OCD and decide to throw everything back in CD cases, idk.

Anyway, I was wondering, what do you guys usually do with your old CD case inserts once you've converted your games to DVD? Do you throw them out? Do you keep them in their old jewel cases? I'm planning on throwing mine all into a tupperware case or something. I've even got a few DS/PSP covers/booklets that I really don't know what to do with.

Matter of fact, where do you put all your spare jewel cases/UGC's/etc? I happen to have an entire shelf filled with spare cd cases, seeing as they come by faster than actual PS1 games do. I wish that happened with dvd cases...

Well I can think of 3 choices..

1. Put them inside the DVD case along with the game..

2. Keep them in their CD jewel case and store them in a box..

3. Put them in a photo album..
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

I keep all of my PS1 case inserts right in the DVD case, under the lower clip. Fits nicely, and I don't have to toss anything. The jewel cases I just give to anyone that needs them.

I package them all up in boxes (inserts and cases) and store them in the loft. Trouble is whenever i go up there with some, i always find something to bring back down. Last time was a C64...which i repaired.... :)...and then the old 1541 disc drive gave up the ghost. >:( (within 10 mins of fixing the C64)

I was thinking of switching my PS1 collection to half height slim DVD cases (If They Exist) or poly cases, I hate jewel cases and how easily they brake, I doped one like 2 feet on to hard wood and it exploded,  and how annoying it is to replace a cover among other reasons,

I put mine on the inside cover with the manual, mainly because I use them in the DVD case before I get the cover printed.

Geez this topic is old. I now just keep everything in boxes and only use DS/DVD/Poly cases if I don't have the original box. All my spare stuff is boxed up in the corner of my room back home now.

Right now Walmart is carrying some tubs that are perfect for CD case inserts. Sterilite brand 5.5 Qt. / 5.2 L (Model 1714)

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-5.5-Quart-Modular-Latch-Box-Set-of-6/11014788

They are only about $3.60 each in store. It took me a few trips to find a tub that worked well for CD inserts without stressing them in  any one spot and would fit inserts comfortably without too much movement. These bins are perfect and they're stackable.
