Most people wanted $40+ JUST for shipping. I just ordered phoenix connectors last night, so I should have it fully operational just in time to leave for my Arcade Expo in Louisville. Wiggy, all I saw in that thread was talk about Halloween and dremels...? --- End quote --- Does it show up as a 24 page thread with you landing on p23? Might be something with my settings for post count per page. Regardless, the extron posts are towards the end of the thread. --- End quote --- Looks like that was it. It's a 72 page thread for me Was there any difficulty in that? Or did you just lift the pins to the BNC connectors, and solder directly to the points where the phoenix would have connected? --- End quote --- Not at all difficult, just time consuming. And yes, that’s exactly how I modified it :) |

I had wondered if something like that were possible...but I already ordered all the phoenix and RCA splitters :/ Also, somehow their warehouse messed up and sent me a unit with 8 in/8 out. Though the front shows it's a 12in model. They're either going to correct it or just give me a refund. Not terribly happy about it, but they're handling it really well at least |

Did they provide a picture showing 12 inputs on the back? These things were designed for commercial use, so to save money some units have buttons on the front despite not having the inputs on the back. For example, they probably made a 12 in / 8 out unit and a 8 in / 8 out unit with the exact same front. The 8 in / 8 out unit would just have 4 buttons on the front that do nothing. It's very common to list an 8x8 as a 12x8 just because of the number of buttons on the front, but they should be listing it based on the inputs/outputs on the back. It's confusing, but often times the people selling this stuff don't exactly know what they have. |

Oh, no. The pictures on the auction show a full 12/8. The pictures I posted were from the auction. My point was they probably just saw the 12/8 layout on the front and assumed it was the right one. Think they sold my 12/8 and the 8/8 at the same time and mixed up orders. My 12/8 was already delivered to someone else, so they're trying to get the person to return it to them (the seller is paying for shipping for all this) so they can get it sorted out. |

Good luck with it all working out. |
