Pretty interesting weekend. Picked up half a dozen good strategy guides for old RPGs from Half price books because of their 20% off sale, a Sonic Pocket Adventure for my NGPC, a Virtual Boy and 4 games, but biggest of all, one of these babies:



It'll get here on tuesday, and the BNC to RCA adapters will be here...well they're being shipped by USPS, so sometime this year hopefully. I'm trying to source some cheap RCA Y adapters with the 2 female connectors. This thing uses Phoenix connectors for the audio, so I have to splice the female RCA into the phoenix screw terminals for audio.

Nice!  Configured with 12 actual inputs is NOT common. Mine has 8, which luckily is more than enough for me at the moment.

As far as audio goes, you could always do what I did. I think I posted pics in my “holy crap!” thread.

The best part was it was only $45, with free shipping. Most people wanted $40+ JUST for shipping. I just ordered phoenix connectors last night, so I should have it fully operational just in time to leave for my Arcade Expo in Louisville.

Goodies from the Square-Enix valentine’s sale. ~$95 shipped for this box.  And I only already own 2 of the games in there by accident, with supreme commander 2 also coming from a S-E webstore sale last year. I’m hopeless. Into the trade pile it goes...

I caught your post on facebook and got an order in as well (sale ends today).  For some reason I stopped getting their email notifications so I didn't know about it.  Unfortunately Nier was sold out, but otherwise I was able to order everything I wanted for super cheap.  Lots of stuff 80% off.

Glad I saw your posts on the Square Enix sale, I just managed to catch a couple deals. Some games I would have otherwise purchased where out of stock, but I found 5 or 6 still available that I wanted. Thanks!

Was there any difficulty in that? Or did you just lift the pins to the BNC connectors, and solder directly to the points where the phoenix would have connected?

I got a second copy of Triforce Heroes coming from Walmart for $8 to leave sealed (I collect Zelda games).  They have them on clearance.

Mine doesn't either, it was though their website.  They have the Fire Emblem Echos for $20 right now too.
