How much have you and would you spend on your collection?

• I'm curious to know how much you've spent on your collection.

Like every other person i have zero clue

• What's the most you've spent on a single item and the most you WOULD spend for a special gaming piece?

The most I've spent on anything gaming related is the $200 each it cost me to buy a switch and a new 3ds xl. I Usually cap off my retro game purchases at $20.00 and try to stick to only good handheld games in order to keep my wallet from dying on me. But if i found something I really wanted i would probably raise the price bar a bit.

• Have you spent more or less on your collection than its current value?

I would say less judging by how frugal i am with buying games

• Do you ever plan to sell or is your stuff going to the grave or to your kids?

When I hopefully get married someday i would like to teach my kids the importance of preserving the games so that on the day I pass on my collection I know they would be in good hands

• Any game purchase regrets?

Besides my entire GBA library I had since childhood as opposed to my newer one I don't have any physical game regrets

-$300 for a new Xbox 360.  Retro wise, $110 (just recently) for "Radiant Silvergun"

-Not even close.  I estimate my collection is worth 10X what I've spent.

Do you ever plan to sell or is your stuff going to the grave or to your kids?

-I'm constantly cycling through games.  There's very few "untouchables" in my collection.

Any game purchase regrets?

-Not really. I'm usually able to trade or otherwise recoup my money if I make a mistake.

$200 on Lunar for sega cd in near mint condition. Honestly I have all the high priced things in my collection that I want except a ps4 pro... but I am working on that.

I have a stepson that would like it, but honestly everything is for sale. If someone offered me $350,000 I would let my collection go (with it taking me almost 20 years to get it this far)

Yep, and I sold those crappy games or traded them away.

House insurance covers the games at current market value, and my firearms keep the robbers away.
