I'm also leaning towards a NeoSD.  It's a lot of money, but certainly worth it in my opinion.  I'm  considering selling my Duo R to fund the Neo SD and just use that with my old Core Grafx II that I still have.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I wanted a Turbo Duo so bad, but man they're expensive. And the mods you need to do to really get them setup and working right is even worse. I found a good deal on this TG16, so I jumped on it. The Super SD System 3 makes me regret not getting a Turbo Duo a LOT less.

Here's the thread on Shmups. The talk about the issues starts about halfway through. For anyone who doesn't lurk there much, there's a LOT of assholes on that forum, and in that threads specifically. But the developers are in the thread, and they're talking to experts about what the issues are and how to fix them. As far as I know, it only affects RGB output on the unit though.

Whoops, just realized it's actually called the Super SD System 3 lol

Not a cheap find, but moving along on my way towards a full manual + cart SNES and N64 collection! Excited for them to show up.

Recent pickups:

Had the screen upgraded in my Nomad.  No more motion blur, and the picture is bright and clear.

How much did Radiant Silvergun set you back? I know it dropped about 50% in price so it is back on my radar.

Paid $110 for Radiant Silvergun.  Seller listed it for $120 initially.  I figured it would sell quick, but it was still there the next day lowered to $110 so I jumped on it.  Disc, manual & rear insert are all mint - no spine card though.

I'd love to get Street Fighter Zero 3, but that's just way too expensive.  I do have a burned CD-R so I at least I can play it.

Been a while since I posted a pickup.  This has been my haul throughout the month.  All in all a little over $200 for everything, which isn't bad actually.
Happy to have Threads and Alundra 2, as I'm now only 11 games off from owning every PS1 RPG released in North America.

Axiom Verge was a nice find, but my real gem here is Countdown: Vampires.  With this, I have now acquired every PS1 horror title released in North America.  Working on PAL next.

Pre-Ordered Shadow Of The Colossus today (while also pre-ordering some Funko Pop! figures at GameStop).  First time I pre-ordered a non-Lego game in more than a decade.  Never did get to play it back in the day and always wanted to, so I'm actually kinda excited for the PS4 version.

I pre-ordered SOTC as well.  I'm looking forward to it, but I really, really, really, really, REALLY hope it doesn't turn out like the Crash Bandicoot remake.   :'(

What'd you find wrong with the Crash Bandicoot remake?  Granted, I haven't played it much, but what I have I've enjoyed.  Does seem to be a little harder than I remember, but then again, so were the PSOne games when I went back and played them recently.

Broken controls.  End of story.  Originals are not difficult.  I 100% them on an annual basis.  The remake is basically unplayable.  I'm happy for people who can find enjoyment out of it, but I will never forget it as my biggest disappointment of 2017.
