Satoshi Matrix's Bead Sprites

Thanks! I think Megaman V is the most underrated game in the whole series. Original bosses, the Mega Arm made it unique, and Wily wasn't the final boss!
I am still sore with Capcom for cancelling Megaman Mania which would have given us full color Megaman V as well as the other ones. Taking that in mind, I decided if Capcom won't give the Star Droids color, then goddamnit, I will then. I had to refer to the manual of the Japanese version as I don't own the English Megaman V, only Rockman World 5. I think I got the colors right. It was a real challenge as the source material is so scarce.
As for 32 bit sprites.....someday. I want to tackle 16-bit first. My next big Megaman project will be Megaman X.

I really loved how the end of the game turned into a shmup - and a really good one at that. Man, I loved that game.

Time to showcase my newest sprites. Every major classic Rockman game has been covered by me except for one: Rockman & Forte. I figured that I should change that! I present you: Megaman & Bass 8-bit customs!
Decided to take them on my kitchen floor for a change. and added a ruler for scale!
Custom 8-bit Boss sprites from Megaman & Bass. From left to right and top to bottom: Coldman, Pirateman, Burnerman, Tenguman, Megaman, Bass, Astroman, Magicman, Groundman, Dynamoman.
Note that these sprites have all been color enhanced beyond the capabilities of the NES color pallet. I based their proper colors on official character artwork.

Next comes the classic Megaman boss portraits! I'll be uploading a set from each game each day so stay tuned!
Each are 32 x 32 beads, making each sprite a total of 1024 beads per sprite. (6.5" x 6.5" each) This sure does add up over time, espically the number of black beads needed. I should also mention that, like my other sprites, these portraits resemble their NES counterparts exactly, except for when the NES counterpart were colored incorrectly due to color limitations. which happened a lot, especially in terms of eye color. I have meticulously recolored all the miscolored portraits based on their official artwork.
Portraits of the first nine robots built by Dr. Light. From top to bottom, left to right: Protoman, Megaman, Roll, Cutman, Gutsman, Bombman, Iceman, Fireman, Elecman. Although Megaman 1 characters, these portraits actually come from the ending of Megaman 3.
There's Megaman 1 covered. Megaman 2 coming next!
