Ya know, I'm still not getting exactly how big these are... any chance you have a picture that shows off the scale? Like, maybe a pic of Mega Man right next to you? Ever thought about doing some larger sprites like, maybe... Darkstalkers? (I'm such a fan boy.) I'd probably pay good money for a Felicia or Jedah. (Ya know - if I get a job.) If that's too large, how about Katt's battle sprite from Breath of Fire II? |

Yup, I'm amazed by your bead sprites but I do think you really should place them next to something we all know the size of. When you take pictures of them could you place them next to a DVD case for example? We all know how big they are and they're basically the same size around the world. That would give us a much better understanding of the scale and we could appreciate your work and effort even more! |

I took this photos a while ago so I can't go back and add anything for size reference now. Until I take new pics, I'll try to remember to add measurements. Bartender Mix Kirby is 19 cm x 15.5 cm. the7k - If you have any requests, please email me the sprites you want. sprites need to be in either .gif or .png format, never jpeg. if its part of a sprite set, open it in paint or something and remove all sprites you don't want to see and leave what you do. I can't promise I'll do fulfill every request I get, but I do promise that I will take them into consideration and evaluate if I can do it. As always, my email address is satoshimatrix@hotmail.com. Here's some more. The P-38 Lightening American fighter made famous from World War II and even more famous by the classic 80's Capcom arcade shooters, 1942 and 1943. I edited the colors slightly to better reflect what P-38's actually looked like. This sprite is fairly small, measuring 7 x 11 cm. Auto is the assistant Dr. Light built to replace his former robotic assistant, Rock, whom was converted into the fighting robot Megaman to fight the forces of Dr. Wily and defend justice. Auto appears in a cameo in Megaman X3, making him the only canon classic series character to have survived into the 22nd century. However, this would make Auto over one hundred years old and many fans consider his presence non-canon by virtue of how silly it would be that minor character Auto outlived everyone else. Sprite is slightly color enhanced from Megaman 9. Auto is 11 cm x 12 cm. And finally....... The robot masters, called Star Droids, from Megaman V on the Gameboy. From left to right, top to bottom: Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Terra, and Pluto. As the Gameboy was black and white and even with Super Gameboy Support, the spirtes lack any color, these sprites were painstakingly recolored by hand to reflect their original full-color artwork, making them appear as if they were enhanced NES sprites. As a bonus I've included the original sprites below just so you can see how many work needed to be done! [Side note: I changed Saturn's left arm slightly from another frame because I liked it better. Other than that, I made no changes.] Megaman sprites generally range from 10 - 20 cm tall and anywhere from 10 - 20 cm across. |

No comments? Aw come on guys, I love reading 'em! Anyway, here's some new sprites. Enjoy. Color enhanced Wily in his signature UFO. This coloring is somewhere inbetween the NES games and the Genesis remake colors. I used what I had. Color enhanced sprites. Tango the cat is from Megaman V and is probably the least known MM sidekick. Protoman sports his victory pose from the arcade games and in Megaman 9. I just corrected his helmet and shield to be white instead of grey. Roll is unaltered from Megaman 9. Rockman in a different sprite style than the classic we all know and Roll in a sort of 8-bit Marvel Vs Capcom sprite. |

I love that you are showing Mega Man V on the Game Boy some love, as it is my favorite original Mega Man entry. Capcom really pulled out all the stops on MMV, and it is still incredibly fun. Perhaps if you want to try larger sprites again sometime, you should give Mega Man from Marvel vs Capcom, or Zero from SNK vs Capcom: Chaos a shot. http://www.fightersgeneration.com/characters3/rockmanzero-a.html |
