Wii controller problem.

Hi guys, a friend has a Wii and both controller are having the same problem, the hand on the screen keeps shaking and is not steady. It looks like if the controller has Parkinson  (sorry for the comparison  :P, no offence). He thought that the problem was the bar and bought a new one, but after changing the bar he is having the same problem.

Does someone knows how to solve this?

Thanks in advance

I think it's a calibration issue. Try going into the Wii settings and see if there's anything to adjust. Might also be "Sensor Bar Position", above or below TV.

Let me tell him to see if that solve the problem.

Thanks

Definitely sounds like sensor bar issues. Either too far away from it, or it’s set up for the opposite position that it’s actually in.

TDIRunner:

Wii settings includes sensor bar location (above or below TV).  Make sure that is setup correctly.

Also, this is a long shot, but maybe for some reason the Wii isn't supply the correct power supply to the sensor bar (if so, replacing the sensor bar won't help).  Try sensor bar options that don't require power from the Wii (either wireless sensor bars or candles).  The first party wireless sensor bars work great and go for less than $10 at GameStop.  If your Wii runs to multiple TVs like mine does, it's really nice to be able to move a wireless sensor bar from one TV to the other.  Batteries last forever because it doesn't really use much power.

Lastly, it probably wouldn't hurt to reset the connection between the controllers and the Wii and sync them back up from scratch.
