Thought I'd ask everyone about this. When it comes to some covers, it seems the scans are really dull and heavy in blue tone, so I colour corrected a recent cover by Symbios63 and wanted to ask should we care much about making the RGB levels equal?

Yes. Just as much as cleaning, and just as much as adjusting brightness and making sure the original image is 300dpi+.
Good work on the adjustment.

Thanks alot irvgotti452! Actually for this particular one, I increased the contrast 25% and went into levels and backed down on the Blue. Brightness never seems to be an issue when it comes to editing covers for me, maybe it's because I auto the levels first before I balance the contrast & RGB levels manually.

I just learned a new interesting thing here  ;D.

Considering the picture, the color correction is an important thing...

Thanks zakurowrath and irvgotti452.

That's great to know, glad you learned something  ;)

Yes i was able to reproduce your changes.

I have been using color levels for the back cover background since my first cover but I never thought about doing it on the front picture... :(

After a quick check, many of the covers I made may be nicely improved this way... :) I will try to update some when I have time.

Thanks again

Hey, do you know if you could maybe check on the games that aren't "only for" Nintendo 64, and start using the templates where it doesn't have that label. Sorry, but I get bugged when I see that, for some reason. Thanks.

P.S. If you can't find a template where it doesn't have that label, you could just use Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and put the images on that.

What the hell did you do to Armorines - Project S.W.A.R.M?  It should be black and red.  Not red, red, red, and white

Not sure I do understand what you mean either. I used the horizontal retail on the website. I did modify the colors a little (contrast and levels) but not that much... ;D

BTW Bomberman 64 - Second Attack

I'm not trying to spam you or anything, but I'm just curious as to if you have read my comment yet, because I an getting a little worried that you've made the WCW RE and TC RS covers already.

Thanks man, you RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, do you still have the front and back covers for games like NFL Blitz, the South Park games, etc, so you can put them in templates without the "only for" label? You don't have to, I'm just wondering.
