Have patience.  There are a lot of new cover styles coming out right now (Mini Boxes, 8-Disc Cases).  Once a majority of the games have cover made for them people will start to come back to these.  There are a lot of us requesting covers & just a handful of guys making them.  Sometimes it takes a while.

The main problem is that most of the covers in the N64 section have extremely crappy quality (transformers - beast wars off the top of my head is only like 541kb and should be deleted all together).  Because we already "have covers" posted, the likeliness of a request for a new one AND for it to be recreated is much lower than a cover that we dont have.  Personally... even though I completely thank all of the users who has contributed to the early years of the N64 section, I feel that there needs to be some spring cleaning =X

Oh and other reason for lack of covers is that creating good looking back background image is hard.

Yeah I can agree with that on some of the covers but if everyone would just follow the mini guide for making the background image we would be fine. I'm referring to the gradient map I should on this thread at least 3 times ;)

Should = showed, right?

Maybe new locked sticky topic showing the basics.

Locked so it stays short, sticky so it doesn't get lost.
Or even separate the guides section to it's own class. It would have only guides for creating cover one topic per Console, locked so no only Forum Admins Cover Guru's and Cover Admins (OK Snowcone too if he promises to behave  ;) ) post there, but of course readable for all.

The problem is that people, unsurprisingly, would rather (myself personally) have a youtube tutorial.  That way I can see exactly (or hear) and all steps are correctly followed.  I will look into screen capture programs to see which would be the best to do, but personally a video tutorial would most definantly assist in many new aspiring creators on what to do.

Well you could try to do a video tutorial, It might be even enough for me to start making covers. Which could lead to great amount of covers due to my insane compulsion of doing new stuff when I get going, or non due to me promising to to stuff but fail to start.

Hope for the best, fear for the worst.

If you guys can get me the proper programs to make a tutorial I'll show how to make a cover start to finish in multiple templates.

Make some PAL vertical covers of these games: South Park: Chef's Luv Shack, South Park Rally, Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mario Party, Mario Party 2 and Mario Party 3

@SBbolt569, not to be rude, but you can always ask nicely, it will add less to the demanding tone that I received when reading your post.  Not trying to be mean, only stating we are people here!!  We also need every one of those in NTSC vertical format as well.  Once someone gets to it (or provides better RAWS / scans of their actual games) then we can get the ball moving.  So unless you have the actual boxes to those games, the likeliness of those PAL vertical boxes getting done is really really slim.  However, due to oldiecovers.free.fr (spelling / is that the correct website?), they have a crap load of PAL scans that are nice, so ball maybe in your court.  However, again, we are all people here with jobs / school / lives that enjoy restoring these covers, so asking us nicely **MAY** persuade a couple people from what they are doing to tackle your request, MAYBE.

Also if you are posting a request, please don't post it inside the Artist's Corner section of the forum, there is a Request Forum section right where I just linked.  This is because this thread is for showing off artist skills, not having requests and finished copies all in one.  Then nothing would get done and no one would see anything new.  So please post your request in The Request Forum
