Before reading everything i break down with your covers please keep in mind it may sound harsh but it is not intended to be so.  I care very much about the template, that it is used correctly and no corners are cut.  :)

Please don't use other people's custom covers just in a new template. I understand its tempting because it will save you time but as we can see in this cover it can backfire.  The logo is oddly covered up and there are A LOT of inconsistencies with the template because of it.  I'm assuming this cover took less than 5min to "convert" over.  I don't even want to go into to detail about how off this cover is ... just scrap it.  :-\  (its not your cover anyway)

Just a new front cover pasted overtop of an existing cover.  If you would like n alternate version of a cover already on the site either contact the original artist and request alternate art or make your own and use it for your own personal use only.  Making that cover took a few hours ... putting new front artwork take only 1min.

Same thing as above.  Just contact the original artist to make a conversion

I would suggest adding a faded yellow-orange image for the back instead of the solid yellow.  Same thing for the spine only with a green-green image.  I think it would look better to have the text / logo on the spine organized the same way as it is on the retail box instead of all the text in one straight line.  :)

I didn't at the time realize that I could put an image behind the yellow and green areas. I did a resident Evil 2 n64 cover that isn't solid color spined.

Besides, the PAL->NTSC conversion, I figured someone would want a NTSC variant with the same artwork. For the zelda ones, I have no excuse.

a few quickie PAL conversions of my n64 vertical covers

Mischief Makers | (revamped NTSC version)
Snowboard Kids
F-Zero X

I'll do the rest of my n64 verticals tonight when I have some spare time.

Hopefully I didn't make any big errors, but knowing me I probably did. Let me know.

EDIT: did I ever upload my slightly revamped NTSC mischief makers? I can't remember...
EDIT 2: guess not, added it here.

xXDeszarasXx, thank you for the job. I've printed the covers today. Altough I'm quite sure that the printer at the printing shop I went had a slight problem with resolution, the general result was a favorable one. (I'm kind of a perfeccionist, so I'll probably reprint them in the future on a different place)

Here some pictures:

the resolution/size of those prints looks fine to me.

the reds seem kinda orangey though... might just be the pictures.

The red bars are all right. Rayman's face, however, is kind of strange. Its kind of a bit orange.

thank you man, people like you make it all worth it man, i'm happy i was of any assistance m8 :)

About Rayman:, that front rayman was from the PC version of the game wich is in my opinion abit more digitally vibrated, wich could explain why he is a little more orange.

About Reds:, nothing changed there, they are Template Originals ;)

No I'm not saying you changed them, it was a comment on the print quality. My home printer would always make deep reds look more like a reddish orange. Like I said, though, could just be the camera making it look that way.

anyhow...

Use the force Gamefaqs:

Flying Dragon did: http://www.gamefaqs.com/n64/197363-flying-dragon/data

Snow board kids did come out in Australia: http://www.gamefaqs.com/n64/198684-snowboard-kids-2/data
which warrants black cover.

And thank you for the JFG cover!

well if you can get me good readable shots of the backs of both of those boxes I can do a black cover for them (unless you don't mind inaccurate info)

Could not find, but the PAL info can't be too different from US.

Wikipedia has some info like age rating:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowboard_Kids_2

Flying Dragon being fighting game I'd guess it to be rated 15.

do you mind if I go ahead and use the ESLPA ratings since that's what's on all the other covers?

Just giving you guys a heads up I made a Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey vertical cover. Unfortunately with Internet access being limited to my iPhone it rather difficult to show a preview picture. I just waned to let you guys know that way someone else doesn't make the cover too and we waste our times. :)

I've got a question about these vertical covers. Are the measures 28,50 x 17,78 cm really correct?

I mean, whenever I print one of them, they don't seem to fit perfectly well in the case. The paper get some "waves" to fit in. (if you look at the case from an upper view you can notice that the paper is a bit "folded" becoming "wavy").

I guess if the lenght is reduced a little bit, like 1 cm or less, this problem wouldn't occur.

Do you guys know what I mean?
