N64 Vertical Cover Thread

A small deviation from the norm on the PAL version (dragon on spine).  I thought it looked pretty cool while still keeping the integrity of the black.  Let me know what you think.

As for the Conker cover, I really think the spine logo should be left alone (like it is on the original box).  I played around with your idea a little bit and found it to be next to impossible to break it apart and still have it look decent.  I could bring the spine photo out front in subtle grayscale (like above) if you want.  It might even out the black space underneath the logo...

Nice Aidyn cover. Usually I don't like logos on spine as it screws the consistency, but that dragon looks really nice.

Then the Conker cover thing. I'd still prefer if it says the whole name of the game on spine. Could you create something as close to the original font from scratch. Orange (waffle pattern) text with silvery edges with rounded corner font.

Like I said before; I tried and failed.  I don't have the skill (or software) to do a decent job on a rebuild of the Conker logo.  Most logos are simple enough to rebuild (like the Aidyn logo), but not this one.  I would never be able to get the textures or the letter extrusion to look acceptable.  I welcome anyone else to take a crack at it though.  Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

How did you achieve that effect Sheep? (not the shadow, the extrusion)

pretty much all done with the layer style tools - gave it a bevel and an overlay, flattened the image - used stroke with a finish on that, flattened again and added shadow.

with a bit of time the shadow could be played with to make it look like 3d letters rather than shadow, but without having the correct font i wasn't going to waste any further time on it.

if you can find a name of the font or a close enough match that you'd be happy with i'll have another play.

I would like to get a consensus on which logo to use on the final covers (BFD or BAD FUR DAY).  Thoughts?
