What resolution/format would you like these in? I can't remember what PS1 games I still have, but I'll look through them and see what I've got.

Hello Stratos and welcome to The Cover Project! Thanks for the offer to help with some scans, anything you can provide is appreciated. The format isn't terribly important, TIF, PNG, high quality JPG is even ok. For resolution, 600dpi is great, but higher res is fine too. Thanks again, and if you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Here is Dragon Warrior VII. I'll have to find the rest of my games to see what else I have from your list.

Thank you very much! If you're scanner software has a setting to descreen or derasterize your scans please turn it on for future scans. It helps to reduce the moire effect that is present in your scans. If you zoom to full size, you can see a pattern of circles, or little "flower" shapes repeated across the image. This is referred to as moire and it can be a pain to eliminate it using photo editing software. If you don't have a descreen setting or something similar, don't fret, I can still make a pretty good cover using these scans.
Thanks again, Stratos! It's refreshing for a new member to make contributions rather than requests!

If I have those settings, I'll rescan them and get them uploaded. Out of curiosity, what do you do to remove them? I've tried various techniques in the past but I haven't had any results I'm happy with.

I can do...

SaGa Frontier
SaGa Frontier II
Wipeout 3

However, I do not have a descreen/desaturize setting and 600dpi is the max on my scanner.  :(  Do you still want them?

*edit*
Here's Wipeout 3 as an example of the quality my scanner can do.

segamer is a pro at moire removal, and he recommended using the Surface Blur function in Photoshop. I get pretty good results but not on the same level he achieves.

Here's an example of his work: http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=22364.msg201751#msg201751

Those scans are fine JCE, thanks! There is moire, but as I mentioned, I can still make a nice cover with them. Definitely go ahead and scan the SaGa games as well. You guys are great!

Cool.  Here are the SaGa Frontiers.  Let me know once you downloaded them as I need to take them off my site.  I'm running out of space.  LOL

I successfully downloaded Saga Frontier II but the first Saga Frontier link is giving me a 404 not found error.

So I rescanned and re-uploaded those images at the same link. My scanner has a filter but it doesn't completely remove them.

Some images are more prone to the moire effect than others. Sometimes it's pretty impossible to remove it completely. And scanners seem to vary pretty wildly in regards to scan quality. Comparing the two sets of scans you made, the moire is definitely reduced in your more recent scans, which is great. Thanks Stratos!

No problem. I'm glad I can help. This is a fantastic site. I'll see if I can come up with any of the others you're looking for.
