Finally got something that I have wanted for a very long time. A TV Out modded Game Gear! I had the work done by RetroMachineRepair on ebay. It's using a Tim Worthington board and the seller did a great job on the whole thing. Even got a few extra free games thrown in! Time to finally start playing through some Game Gear games! Love your choice of game to sample. Big fan of Power Strike II on the Game Gear! |

Well, it finally happened. I've been an eBay member for 3 days shy of 15 years and I finally got my first bad experience. I ordered a copy of Half Life for PS2 (which I mentioned in another thread that I'm looking forward to playing next). The listing described the game as "complete" and in "very good" condition. Sure enough, I received it disc only with plenty of scratches. The seller claims, "no returns," but I know better than that. I already started the returns process. I had my doubts with the auction, but I'm confident enough in eBay's return policy that I wasn't too worried. The crappy part is now I will have to wait a lot longer before I can start the game. It's just frustrating, but at least I've had pretty good luck for almost 15 years. |
