I don't know the numbers, but they only sold something like 250k actual Jaguar units, so the CD add on unit number would be considerably lower because what percentage of Jag owners actually bought one? On top of that, they were notoriously unreliable, so many of them are no longer functional today, and while repairs may be possible, it's likely that a good chunk have been trashed. I typically don't use the word rare because I don't like it and find it difficult to define. I probably should have said uncommon. But regardless, there aren't many out there.

The most obscure thing i have is a third party Xbox controller called the Nyko Airflo Ex. It has a fan in the back and ports for air to be directed into your hands. It's the typical quality in that it's not as good as a first party controller but not horrible but the fan really does work at keeping your hands from getting that clammy moist feeling after a lengthy gaming session. As long as controllers were corded I'm surprised this wasn't a more used idea as once I found it I loved it.

While not my most valuable items (that honor likely belongs to my CIB Hagane), my most uncommon items are probably:
My SNES box with store warranty card still attached (they usually removed these at the store when purchased)
And this weird 3rd party Master System controller. It's NES counterpart is far more common and I have never really seen another one of these in person and only once or twice on eBay.

Probably a Hyperscan :P
