So my printer is a Epson ET-4500, one of those fancy new printers that uses ink bottles instead of cartridges and is a printer/scanner/ and copier in one. The problem is I can't seem to print in color. When I print something, it comes out in mostly blue or something like that. It seems to be missing colors and isn't accurate. There doesn't seem to be an ink problem as they are all full. Weird and I was wondering if someone else has the same printer at least and if this has ever happened? Is there anyone good with printers/computers who can help me troubleshoot?

Thank you so much

This is what it looks like as of right now. I just refilled the entire ink bottle in each one. I'm not sure why it is coming out like this. Color Management setting issues maybe? Can anyone please help?

If you read the link I shared, the Power Ink Flushing utility addresses exactly that.
I'll quote the important part for you:
"If you have not used the product for a long time and find banding or missing colors in printouts, you may need to replace the ink inside the ink tubes to solve the problem" The ink tubes are not the same thing as the ink tanks.

That's your problem right there and screams clogged print heads.  Huge reason I ditched my old inkjet printer.  I never used it often enough and the ink would always be dried up in the heads requiring a purge which just wastes a bunch of ink.  Went to a BW laser for a time and never had this problem again.  Been thinking of buying a color laser ever since.

Sad update: I haven't been able to fully fix the issue. As you can see by the picture below.....

So far I have done nozzle head cleanings about 5 times over the last 2 days. I also have done power ink flushing at least twice over that time period. It has fixed the color issue but I am still having trouble with the black as you can see in the picture. When I print anything, there are missing black lines and stuff whether it is a color photo or a word document with black letters.

Also, when I go to the settings and check how much color ink I have in each bottle, it says that I am low in black. However, I have filled it up and it isn't low, it just seems to the printer that it is.

I'm not sure what to do next if anyone has any advice. I am going to wait another 12 hours and take a look tomorrow. I'm not sure what's going on....

It still looks low in "black" ink. I don't get it. I still can't print flawlessly but it looks almost good enough. Weird. ANyone know what I can do now?

What about those printers that have hoses connecting to giant gallon size ink cartridges? I forget what it's called, but I was thinking of getting one.

It took me a while with Google to find what I was talking about. Turns out they are called CIS/ CISS (Continous Ink System or Supply System) printers. They make both dedicated CISS printers and kits that attach to your existing printer. When I first heard about these many years ago, I figured they'd take off and become the standard for guys like you (I, myself still haven't gotten around to printing anything from here because I don't have a printer, but I do like looking at the stuff created here and will EVENTUALLY get a CISS printer) who print stuff all the time. Here's an example:

I don't think the average person prints nearly enough to warrant a continuous ink system, which is likely why they aren't the norm or anything at this point.
