So I went on a look out for some new Half Height DVD cases for my ps1 games
(I like the customs but want to keep the CD case height)

I now have 100 Half height cases I plan on using for most of my ps1 games.

My dilemma is this... I cant seem to print the sleeves the right size.

From what I know of my printer It prints 8.5 X 11 border-less great!
(DVD and DS cover come out great)
It seems to have an option for legal border-less but says to use better paper

I have legal paper, tried to go border-less, but didn't come out right.

The dimensions of the Artwork insert are roughly 11.38" x 4.63"

I figured even if Ii can't go border-less with legal, its only 11.63" on a 14" sheet.

I'm gonna keep trying whatever I can in black & white until I figure it out
Anyone got any Ideas?

If it helps, I'm using Paint.net, Hp Deskjet 5440, and trying to print at 300 Dpi

Pics please? I've always been toying with the idea due to my obscure PS1 games (The Weakest Link) being easy to convert with the half-height size.

I think I've printed correctly from Paint.NET maybe once. ;)

I hope this is what you want for pics.

They are close to the exact same size as a standard jewel case

http://www.cddimensions.com/DVD-Case-Black-Half-Height-Size-100-Per-Box/productinfo/GEN-PB1-BLACK/

that's where I purchased them

I found others on other sites but with smaller spines (like 5mm-7mm)

There are also double disc ones on other sites.

For double disc games I will be pop-riveting 2 cases together
For Triple Disc I would Like some of the Sticky Disc "Hubs" for the front of the back riveted case.

This is pretty cool, anyone up for starting the "Half height dvd case ps1 thread"? Little lengthy but you get what I mean :P

You know if they sell cases of that size that hold multiple disks? I'm only thinking of doubling up cases on games with more than two discs. (Like just two two disk cases for something like FF9)

You know it's a shame the people who make this product don't post the sleeve dimensions. http://www.burn-media.co.uk/great_value_Half-Height-Single-Black-DVD-Case---200-Pack-pr-25962-c-431-p-1.html I doubt this is similar t the otheer case at all but this one states that the case dimensions are 142mm x 125mm , to give you a starting point.

They don't state how thin the case is.
That could be a slim case, unfortunately not thick enough to have nice text/logo on the spine

Only problem with the double cases... no place for manuals. :(

I did a while ago, however those were "slim" and nobody but maybe Mookyjooky ever owned any. I also only made ~1 cover.
