I just pledged $20 for a controller. If it works out and I like the quality, I'll be getting one of their NES gamepads too. I'd like to see one for the Master System or a Saturn version which integrates the 3D Control Pad, but I'm not sure there's a large enough market for either. I'd love to see a good 3DO controller as well, but that's never gonna happen. |

what about a CDI controller? Those things are stupid expensive if you want a wired gamepad. |

If it works out and the quality is good, I would love to see them do other controllers as well, but I think realistically, they are more likely to work on other Nintendo controllers first, and maybe even do wireless versions of the Nintendo controllers before moving on to anything else. If they go after any brand other than Nintendo, it would most likely be Sega (at least SMS and Genesis could theoretically be knocked out with one controller). |

I used to have the one that looked like a 4 button Gravis PC controller. Someone (as in a guy) made a Genesis to CD-i adapter, but he didn't make many, and I've never seen one. For 3DO, it's much easier. There was actually an SNES to 3DO adapter sold on stores. That one.I played with when I rented a 3DO oh so many years ago. The SNES controller is pretty much the best controller of all time, so there ya go. If you don't care for that, there's like a million other SNES controllers, or adapters to go into an SNES port that would probably work. |

The NES was too small and uncomfortable, and the N64 could be awkward and had a terrible joystick. The only other Nintendo controller I can see them doing is the SNES, but I don't think anyone has a problem with the original. Wireless would be neat, but I'm not sure I'd pay more for the option unless they manage to completely eliminate any lag. Either way, I'm excited for whatever they come up with next! --- Quote from: marioxb on August 30, 2017, 09:33:06 AM --- For 3DO, it's much easier. Is there a retailer currently selling them somewhere? |
