I mean, I felt it worthwhile for $27, so...

At this point, they're losing money on the sale and they're surely just trying to recoup as much of their cost as possible.  I.e. buying a copy at this point isn't gonna push them to develop anymore games.  In fact, they're probably thinking the exact opposite :/

Maybe, but I bought it when it was still $35 a while back.  :P

Tech13:

I got a Sony Trinatron 36 inch off Craig's List for free last night.

Nice to have something larger than 20 inches for light gun games. The tv has a 1080I mode that forces the screen to 16 : 9 but it looks really sharp for an older tv.

Edit:: apologies for the huge sideways pics. Anyone know how to fix that?
Edit 2:: attempt to fix pictures. Sorry still learning

Hesch:

If it's 1080i, it may not work for Lightgun games. The screen can't be digital at all. So if there's HDMI inputs on it, I'm pretty sure you're out of luck.

Correct.  If it's one of those wide screen Sony Trinitrons, I can confirm that they will not work with light guns.  I used to have one and I loved it for component based systems that used widescreen (like PS2, Xbox, Wii, etc), but I still prefer a regular 4:3 Sony TV for the older consoles and light gun games.  If I had the room, I would have kept it and used a 3 TV setup, but unfortunately, I had to give it away and stick with my 2 TV setup.
