I made it to the Missouri Game Con this year. I wish I could have made it Saturday since there was a little more going on, but I still had a great time. I got to see the Nintendo PlayStation prototype running a SFC game. I got to meet Kelsey Lewin from Metal Jesus Rocks. I sat in on the Limited Run Games panel which was ran by Doug, one of the co-founders. I saw John Riggs and Radical Reggie, but I didn't get a chance to meet them. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay long enough for the Kelsey/John/Reggie panel, but I believe they taped it and plan to put it on YouTube. I was trying to keep my spending down for the weekend, so I only ended up with a few games. Overall, it was a pretty amazing event and the turn out was fantastic especially for only their second year. It might be pretty small compared to some of the East Coast and West Coast conventions, but I would prefer something smaller and less busy anyway. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but here are a few. |

I really wanted to go to that one, but I found out about it less than a week before it started. I'm definitely going to the Grand Ole Gameroom Expo in Nashville this year. If anyone else is going, definitely look me up! |

@Blumpkin, that case is pretty cool! Was that some kind of promo thing I guess? I also made it to MO Game Con on Saturday and was able to get some good pickups! Also got the copy of Leisure Suit Larry signed by Al Lowe. Sunday I traded a ton of junk (old figures, sports games, misc cables) to V-Stock and got this for next to nothing... Which also completes my Mega Man set! |
