I'll kick this off!  ;D

A couple of finds over the weekend.  Getting close to the end of my 360 wants list.

I won't call this a pickup, but I've gotta brag about the project I finished over the weekend. This is literally a childhood dream come true.

Got an old ass i5, 8GB of ram and a GTX1070 running it.

These two books arrived today.  The Last Guardian book is fantastic.  It includes a lot of art and history as well as a walkthrough and trophy guide.  The SOTC book is not quite what I expected, but it's still a neat little piece.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I usually don't buy full price games, but couldn't resist picking up Horizon. I'm in the process of playing the full God of War series on PS4 right now, then I plan to start playing this one. Also, MotorRodeo was kindly gifted to me by Lashek and I am incredibly appreciative. Technically it counts as a June Pickup, but I've been offline for the last week, so I'm posting it now. Thanks again Lashek, you are an amazing and generous person! Now I've got to track down a loose copy so I can actually give it a try, as I just can't justify opening a package that's been sealed for 25 years!

So...this came in the mail today

I paid the current going rate right now but I had $100 paypal credit so I only paid $180 out of pocket, definitely the most I have spent on one game so far.
I now have all 14 US released Virtual Boy games

God I wish I would have kept my VB crap. I sold it all when it was worth virtually nothing...

And I had 3 sealed copies of Waterworld because NOBODY could sell them, so grabbed all 3 at a babbages for $.99 each :(

I hooked everything up before remembering to take the picture, but my Saturn HD Retrovision cables came in and, as expected, they are beautiful.

Haven't done one of these in a while, mostly because I have been ridiculously busy.  But I went back to my home town for the 4th of July and hit all the usual stores...I made out pretty well.

The lot cost me about $250 in total, $30 of that being Miami Vice which I got from Amazon.

These items are pretty low priced considering 4k DVDs are fairly expensive, but they are all used, hence the immensely discounted prices.

A few key priced items - Vanguard Bandits for only $15 complete, Wings of Wor for $10 due to cracked shell, and Arrow Flash for $5 due to writing and cracked shell.  Everything was tested in the store and works fine.  The Mother 3 repro was only $15, so that was a nice little find as well. The 8-bit NES30 Pro controller came with an NES classic adapter, I already have one of these, but the adapter is a nice addition as it's nice to play that thing wireless and access the main menu from the controller.

I also grabbed this for only $100 from a pawn shop.  The guy said it just had the head phones, hence the discount price/.  Well, it had the headphones AND the base.  All it was missing were the cables, which are just some micro USB cables to charge it and an optical audio cable to hook to the xbox.  So a pretty good steal.

Megatron - try this with the Arrow Flash game.  Use an Expo dry erase marker on a small portion of the marker.  Just scribble over it.  Somehow the chemicals in the dry erase marker cause permanent marker to bubble up, then both can be easily wiped away with a tissue.  Sound ridiculous but it works.  If you're successful, do the rest.  I've removed 25 year old permanent marker from many Genesis cartridges and in most cases you'd never know it was even there.  I recommend using only Expo brand, as others don't seem to work, and use a light color.  The worst result I've had is a minor dark spot leftover, but it's barely noticeable and looks better than leaving the writing.

This trick also works on the rear artwork of Sega CD & Saturn games.  I have a Sonic CD in which the UPC code was covered by marker (like rental stores used to do), and the dry erase trick removed it completely.  Doesn't work on original Genesis artwork inserts as that paper is too thin, and the marker gets permanently embedded in the paper.

You have nothing to lose since Arrow Flash is a common game anyway.  I look for games that are discounted due to writing because I know I can usually remove it.

There are art markers used for blending. You can just rub those over the permanent marker and it should loosen it up then you can wipe it away.

These are super expensive, and the only option I know about readily because I actually have a set of these markers normally:

Thank you all for the advice.  I actually picked a few of these color blender markers up back when the "Got F**king Magic Marker" thread first started.
For the damaged carts, I was able to get the writing off of Arrow Flash as well as swap out the damaged back for a better one.  I will do the same for Wings of Wor and transfer the label once I get some time to do it.

I've been a little busy with this "pickup", which my 19 month old daughter is not exactly fond of at the moment because of the noise level.
