Oh yeah, those things are garbage.  Nintendo doesn't produce crap like that.  Even their "budget" products like the New 2DS XL are extremely well built.

I saw on Facebook that you picked up a 2DS XL.  Any chance of getting a picture of one opened up next to a New 3DS (non XL)?  I'm curious how much bigger it looks in comparison.  I'm also curious about picture quality compared to a New 3DS (non XL).  I saw the 2DS XL at Target today and I'm just trying to decide if it's worth it to me. 

I can, but just so you know, the N3DS came with both types of LCD, so the comparison may not be all that useful (I'm not sure which LCD type my N3DS units are at this point, as I've only powered one of them up just to make sure it worked, since it was used).

I'm not sure if I'm following you.  Are you saying that some N3DS units have different types of LCD depending on the model?  If so, I'm using the Super Mario 3D Land N3DS (the one that game with 3D Land pre-installed and two sets of removable face plates).

Yes, but there's no way to know just by the design.  Even the serial numbers aren't able to 100% determine.  You've basically gotta do side-by-side comparisons to know for sure (or just on its own if you're really familiar with how both types appear).

If you want to google it, the two types are IPS and TN.  IPS is generally the preferable type.

2 day shipping, woot.  Walmart is now Amazon, without the great prices.

They most likely won't re-fulfill cancelled orders... if they go back online.  People are going to be pissed.

I pop in and make stupid jokes, learn to deal with it.  Too freaking serious here, which has made me completely stop contributing to the NES cover cause.  Because you know, out of the last $700 I have spent for the cause, only Taketheword has helped.  Everyone else is just take take take take, and I for one (with all that Shenske is going through) want to help him out.  That "cover joke" was so last year man.

Sorry, but my google fu must be lacking. I'm trying to figure out the problem, besides the general, walmart sucks, child labor, cutting jobs, no registers open. I used to work for them, yet I still have no idea what happened recently, besides the cancelling SNES Classic pre-orders. So for the idiots like me who don't know what we are looking for in our Google searches, can you please elaborate?

The top story if you googled walmart was that Walmart had a glitch in their database which made the pre-orders allowed pre-maturely.  Walmart was not suppose to take pre-orders 7/21 so they cancelled EVERY order. 

If you googled walmart last week, the top story that was plastered everywhere was the "Check your Walmart SNES Mini Pre-order! They are being cancelled!"

Convenient Cropping is Convenient, I cropped the google search.  RIGHT underneath it was the news stories.  I was more surprised at that time by the 2 day shipping lol.
