Just an FYI, HD Retrovision YPbPr cables for SNES and Genesis are back in stock.  They've been out for a while now.

What I especially like is the Genesis cable can work on the JVC X'Eye and CDX as well.

I still love mine.  I recommend it if you have the cash to spend.  I'm using them on SMS, Genesis and SNES.  That was one Kickstarter that I felt I truly benefited from funding.

I backed them for the SNES and have been kicking myself for not going with the Genesis as well.  Not as nice a price as the kickstart, but I'll take it!

Damn, I didn't know about the Saturn adapter.  I want one, but I also didn't know how much more they cost after the initial run.  Damn.  I will have to think about that one.

For anyone whose on the fence about these cables...  They are absolutely worth it, even at the higher than initial cost.

I didn't have the funds when the kickstarter was active, but I bought me two Genesis and a SNES cable when they first went on sale to the public.  Love them.  Honestly couldn't imagine playing either of those consoles without using them anymore.  LOL.

I bought my Genesis cable when they first went on sale to the public and I'm glad I did.  The picture quality is amazing on both an HDTV and a CRT with component inputs.  Best of all, it's the native resolution of the system.  No modding, no trickery - this is the picture quality that the original system is capable of producing.

I ordered the Saturn adapter so I can finally hook my Saturn up to my big screen HDTV.

I got my SNES and Sega cables ordered, with the requisite adapters for the Genesis model 1. Really excited to get all this connected up finally.

And naturally, yesterday I get an email that the OSSC is open for preorders. Hopefully it's still available come payday.

Supply will likely meet demand for a while now, especially with one more wave set to release next week.  Well worth it, but not a perfect solution as some HDTV's won't display a 240p signal.  I have three HDTV's in my house, and only one is compatible (luckily it's my big screen in the living room).  Also, from what I've read on forums, some TV's that will work with a Genesis won't work with a SNES.

I'm looking forward to their upcoming Dreamcast cable.  Even though Dreamcast can natively output RGB via VGA (which looks great on a modern HDTV), not all games work when the VGA cable is connected to a Dreamcast.  Certain games will only work via A/V or S-video (including my favorite DC shooter "Gunbird 2").  The new HD Retrovision cable is supposed to be compatible with all games.

I was unable to be at a computer when they went back in stock, but I was happy to see they were still available tonight when I got home.  I ordered what I need to get my Saturn going with component.  I'm still undecided if I want to do the mod work to get my N64 hooked up.  The nice thing is that it looks like stock may be more reasonable going forward, so I can think about what I want to do with the N64.

Got me some hookups for the snes and my genesis along with the saturn adapter! Pretty stoked! I did the test for both systems and it seems to work on both the large tv's i would usually use. Can't wait to see how this looks for real!
