Tested my Genesis cables last night and holy crap they look good. I remember playing Rocket Knight Adventures on my old RCA cables, and some of the graphics/text in certain areas was so grainy and gross looking. That's almost completely gone now. I've got some artifacting and horizontal bars popping up that is probably a kink somewhere in my setup that I have to trace out, but these were well worth it.

I should add, because I should have known this on my own but forgot...so someone else might not realize. The HDRetrovision cables will not work on a stock SNES Mini. It has to be modified for RGB before the cables will work on it.

Should be obvious, but it never hurts to put reminders out there.

I got my shipment notification on my Saturn stuff today.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Not necessarily obvious as US folk don't use RGB-SCART, thus they don't realize so easily that feature has been removed.

I've been using the Genesis cable and love it! I was number 2, (TWO), on the Kickstarter campaign.

The picture is beautiful.

It's crazy what the wrong power cord can do to your video. I had a similar issue with mine a while back.

And for anyone with the 32x/CD attachments, I HIGHLY recommend grabbing one of these:

Yeah, they sell out really fast. It's a bit like HDRetrovision...sign up for the newsletter/mailing list and wait for notification of incoming stock. Naturally, I bought mine a while back when I was using a Model 2 setup...and now I have a full Model 1 "Segazord" and I need to replace the cables. Might be willing to put my model 2 power cable up for grabs if/when that happens

edit: I lied a bit. Follow them on Facebook for inventory updates

I mentioned it elsewhere, but I figured it was worth mentioning it here as well.  The Saturn adapter for the Genesis component cable works really well.  I'm very happy with the purchase.

I noticed that the newer cables now have a small cap to go over the brightness switch.  While it's minor, I still think it's a nice addition as I remember worrying that the switch might be easily broken on my earlier launch cables.

I'm really hoping that they can figure out a way to duplicate the chip used in the GameCube component cable and create something for the Dreamcast.  Those two systems would be at the top of my list for the next cables I would want.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Got a chance to hook up the retrovision SNES cable.  While the difference isn't nearly as significant as it seems to be for many folks (my gaming TV already does a great job with most any low res signal), it's still quite nice and I'll definitely be switching from S-video.
