Case sleeve dimensions are 7.03" x 4.61" @ 300dpi

((resizing DVD case art to those dimensions works great))

Hey everyone,

this one takes more "craftiness" but there is a solution to holding the games in CD Cases. I can then print case insert and manual cover (or it can hold the manual). Check that thread for more details and let me know if you have any questions.

Thats not a bad idea and keeps things looking almost original. Do they hold the card tightly ?. And to anyone going with this idea, do you prefer scans of those 'circular sticker with barcode' Hu-Card cases or an adaptation to a clear CD case? (like the DVD cases are)

Holds the cart very tightly. I prefer using scans to keep the original look, so if it is a JP title, I actually print an insert with the circular sticker cases. For US titles I actually use a Spine sticker that looks dead on original. I will have to upload some photos later this week, very original looking.

Here is another thread with info on the spine stickers for US Turbografx games:

And the stickers, these are so legit, and I highly recommend dealing with Sparky since I personally bought a full set (and they look amazing).

What you end up doing is either obtaining a manual, or finding a scan and then you have nice artwork for your jewel case.

Did you buy a big set from him maybe?

I'm desperately looking for the spine sticker off Soldier Blade US.

I don't need the whole bunch just this one sticker.

If you have the set would you be willing to part with it maybe for a little charge?

I did buy a full set but I think I used that one. It isn't hard to make your own, but the quality this guy does is top notch. Does he not include that one in the partial set? Maybe drop him a line and see if he can include it.

The problem is that I just need this particular one not a set.

Even a high res scan (600 - 1200 dpi) would be enough then I could make my own.

It would be nice to have spine stickers in HU-CARD style so as i could acctually read them. All my stuff is PC Engine rather than TG16. Might look into making some if there isnt' someone allready doing it.

tiktektak - I can upload a scan of a template I made, wouldn't be hard to make your own.

Grumbleduke  - I am with you on this - I prefer to be able to quickly see my games, and I made a custom case for Salamander and did just as you described.

FellipeBr  - this won't work for DS / GBA. These are using CD jewel cases, too thin to use for that.

BTW - if we started a a project for PC Engine games getting English spines / inserts, could we upload that somewhere?

I've been thinking of using half-height DVD cases, too, but mostly for Game Boy/Game Boy Advance games. Nintendo's US store isn't very accommodating to Australians, and I don't know any other stores that sell them [apart from the odd couple appearing on ebay]
