The cases that are made for TG16 I believe are all for the TG16 CD games.  I was just wondering if anyone had loose hucards laying around that they have tried to put in a case (whether cd or dvd) and what they did to secure it.  It'd be great if someone sold blank tg16 hucard cases, but I don't think that's likely.

Im not sure about the U.S but the orange dvd style cases that Microsoft points cards are supplied in here in the U.K will perfectly fit a hucard minus the plastic sleeve.Still would be a problem getting hold of a lot of them though.

Just a minor inconvenience I'd say but not really a problem :)

You didn't see that he posted dvd style cases that Microsoft points cards are supplied in, did you? Not actual DVD cases.

And in the US, the points cards are not in cases, they are in blister packs hanging on hooks.

The emphasis was on "here in the U.K ;) I'm kidding

In Germany the points cards and the XBL gold membership pre-paid cards come in actual orange DVD cases (points cards) or neon green DVD cases (XBL gold membership pre-paid cards). These are actual standard DVD cases but they have some clamps to hold a card the size of a credit card.

They look like this

I don't know about the U.K but I guess this packaging is the same across Europe. Grumble you may correct me if I'm wrong ;)

The tricky part which would require some individual initiative would be to get a hodl of these cases without buying the points cards. You could email MS asking for cases (hey you never know ;) ) or ask maybe some gamestores in your area. I have a gamestore here that sells the codes via email if you wish. You get a pitcure of the card with the code. So I guess the shop has quite some cases lying around. Maybe there's a shop like this in your area.

Yup, you guess right Kaiser, the MS Points cases seem to be the same across Europe. Did'nt want to commit to that as i was posting from my mobile sitting in traffic earlier and could'nt check. So the Hu-Card minus the clear plastic storage sleeve will fit nicely in that slot in the middle and it has  storage for instructions. I only buy MS points from GAME or Gamestation in my local town since discovering this, but i have stockpiled 6300 now so im not buying anymore for now.

If those MS points cases could be obtained in black I bet they'd work great.  Personally I think the orange and green are kind of fugly.

But to secure my HuCards I simply slide the card under the insert clip on my DVD cases.  It's snug enough that the HuCard doesn't slide around under normal use (placing and grabbing off of a shelf).

HEY, EVERYONE with loose TG16 Hu-Cards!!!

I was in FYE the other day... they have Gift Card cases that look like DVD cases, but much smaller.

The case opens up and has a spot that secures a gift card much like the Microsoft cards from Europe.

And just like a real DVD case, you can slide out the artwork insert.

Most of them say happy birthday or congratulations and such.

 They were about $1.50 each

 I don't have any TG16 stuff.   :-\  So I didn't bother picking any up.

I just thought you guys should know

**I will buy a couple at FYE later today and upload some pics of them**

I don't have a TG16 game to test out this new case, but I did take pics for anyone who might be interested (also purchased Kieth Courage off Half.com to fiddle with these)

I did a quick measurement of the sleeve of the mini case.  ROUGHLY  4.70"  X  7.03"
 With a spine roughly .375"

Sorry to all In Europe for the Inches measurements.......I am American

These are very interesting Mick!.. thanks for bringing them up.. I like the idea of using these smaller cases for hu-cards.

I've owned a Turbo-Duo for many years and still have not purchased a single Hu-card game, but lately I've been considering purchasing some.

P.S. You said you found these at FYE? cuz the card inside is from Gamestop

I think we should wait on running out to get them until I know the dimensions of a Hu-Card or until I get my Keith Courage in the mail

The dimensions of a Hu-card are almost identical to that of a credit card. The only difference is the thickness.
A Hu-Card is about twice as thick

well then with a razor or Dremel (my personal favorite) it should fit nicely... we just need DVD style case images for them, and enough people that have/want them to actually make and upload them
