Covers for "digital only" games: Xbox 360/One, PS4, PS3, Switch, PC, WiiU (...)

Alright, i almost covered (haha...) all my GOG, Steam, Origin and Uplay digital games.
I still have around approx. 8 covers to do, but i got enough to upload already so i though let's go.
I need a short break anyway!

As i said i focused on games that never saw a physical release.
I have some games in my GOG library that i do not have physically, but i do not intend to make covers for them since i could buy them from eBay or so.

However, I have one particular question. Where did you get all the artwork from? For many of your designed covers I wasn't able to find any source material.

thank you! I'm happy that you like my covers!

I basically search like "everywhere". I mostly use google's or startpage.com's "picture-search".
I try different combinations "game name + key art, keyart, cover, artwork...." - in this way one pic leads to another and so on.
But first of all i check if there is a official press-kit or if can "steal" something from the official website.
Sometimes i have to piece together different wallpapers to get a better fitting format (like on my owlboy cover - there the spine and the front were two different pictures).
And often i try how the picture looks after i let waifu2x scale it up.

I'll try! Right now i'm working on Double Dragon 4 and SteamWorld Heist for the Switch.
I needed a break from the last few missing GOG and Steam covers - haven't got the right ideas  right now.

Also nochmal danke für deine Tipps und Vorlagen, die werden mir sicher helfen. Wenn ich in den nächsten Wochen die Zeit dafür finde, möchte ich auch einige Covers für meine digitalen Games basteln. Für viele davon hast du mir die Arbeit schon abgenommen^^

Mittlerweile habe ich für fast alle meiner digitalen Spiele auch Cover, es fehlen nur noch die paar o.g. für PC und eben wenn ich neue Spiele kaufe. Endlich habe ich das (fast) aus dem Kopf und ich kann zocken!

Here we go again. Two new covers today. Still got the other Steam / GOG ones to finish.

Once this is done i'll start my next project in getting physical with my Switch games!
I want to save every game on a single Micro SD card and put it in the corresponding case.
The only problem: the micro SD cards are too small and the SD card adapters are too big to fit in the holder of the switch case... :-/

Wiggy created adapters a while back to fit SD cards in Switch cases. It may be of interest to you.

Thanks for the info. I sent him a pm but i got no reply.
Anyways i'm going to use the standard SD-card adapters that come with the micro-sd cards.
I already finished a few labels, but until now i didn't find good label-paper.

Cover-wise i'm a bit lazy these days, but i finished two new Switch ones though.

It seems to be rather difficult to find proper pics for Rayman 3 HD, maybe i'll dig a little bit deeper into it, but i can't promise anything.

Today i've got 3 new covers for the Switch.
Gekido was a disappointment... it looked way better than it really is.
It's unfortunate that you can't completely delete games from your Nintendo account (like you can in Steam). :-/
