The GBA version isn't in the GBA section, and I can't even add a cover for it because its not their. Please add the game!

--- Quote from: tylerbgood on June 03, 2017, 09:46:44 PM ---Each cover uploaded to the main site goes through a review process which takes a number of days. If the cover is found not to meet the quality standards of The Cover Project, it is rejected and you will NOT be notified. There are a number of things that the reviewers look for. Are the raw scans the cover was created with at least 300 dpi? Does the cover have an accurate bar code? Does the cover use a standardized template? Are all dust and scratches removed from the artwork? Has the text been retyped (if necessary)? Have the logos and icons been replaced with high quality vectors? These are just some of the questions that should be addressed before submitting a cover to the main site. It is highly recommended that you upload your cover to a site like mediafire or box.net and share it here on the forums first. That way, the site's members can give you feedback, advice, and constructive criticism so that you can be sure your cover will be qualified for the big show. We look forward to seeing your custom box art!

If you are 100% sure your cover is up to the site's standards it should be uploaded under the name of the GBA game that it is closest to alphabetically. The cover admins will add the proper category if your cover if found to be acceptable. Again, it is HIGHLY recommended that you share it here on the forums first, as Nacho3 said to you when you asked this same question 3 years ago.

1. That was cover I scraped due to being complete trash.
2. But why isn't the game still not on the site? It's been 3 years and still nothing. That really strange.

There are literally thousands of games not represented on The Cover Project. If nobody has provided high quality raw scans of the game, no cover is made. The Game Boy Advance alone had 1074 games, and that's not even counting regional variations, special editions, etc. We are always looking for people with good scanners to provide scans of their games to be used in the creation of custom covers. It's a slow and difficult process that requires people with artistic ability, a willingness to share, and the motivation to undertake a challenge. Not so strange when you realize the effort involved with each and every cover posted to the site.

And if the game name isn't already in the database, it never will be. Until, a cover is made and uploaded, and accepted by the staff to be posted, and then is posted to the site.
