Blumpkin's Cover Bounty Board - CLOSED
tylerbgood:
Got another one for you Blumpkin! I also have a scan of Casper: Spirit Dimensions, just need to clean it up and I'll get it posted.
Superman: Shadow of Apokolips
ignition365:
I have Ivy the Kiwi? and Puzzle de Harvest Moon for DS, and Chaos Legion and Casper Spirit Dimensions for PS2. I also have Stretch Panic on the way.
I'll try to make scans, don't know how good my scanner is.

When you go to scan your covers, adjust your settings in the software to scan at 300dpi or more if possible. Also, if you have a setting which allows you to "descreen" or "derasterize" check that off as well. And when you put your cover on the scanner, don't place it right against the edge, most scanners cut off a little of the edges of the scanning surface.
There's a good guide created by Doom here: http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=1305.0 but it's a little ugly right now since photobucket broke all the image links.
Hope this helps! If you have any questions feel free to ask. And if you already knew all this, my apologies for the unnecessary advice!

Advice is entirely welcomed. My wife is the only person who has used our scanner, so I have no experience with that.
The only thing I knew was to try and scan at 600dpi but 300 dpi minimally.
To clarify, you are saying to make sure "descreen" and/or "derasterize" is turned off?
sheep2001:
Descreen ON please.
