The Retron works pretty well. Picture quality is excellent at 720p. The sound is very good, not quite perfect but not bad by any means. The cartridge slot is a little tight, but not as bad as other Retron's I've had. Carts nearly always boot up the first time. The included controller works well and feels solid, unlike most clone controllers. The system itself also doesn't feel thin and light like most clones - definitely a more solid build all around. I've found only one glitchy cart, and it's a homebrew I have of "Donkey Kong Original Edition" with the added 4th level. I was looking for a cheap and easy solution to playing original carts with original controllers on my HDTV and this does the job very well. |

That's actually the first clone console I've considered buying, but it wold be for another room, and not a replacement for my primary game room. |

Some finds from the local flea market over the weekend. SMB is complete and in really nice shape. The Mega Memory card and Xbox HD adapter will be flipped. |
