I remember a couple years ago I was at a yard sale and they had a couple Xbox games out for sale and I asked them if they had any other video game stuff. The guy mentioned he had an Atari with a bunch of games but had just thrown them in the trash pile thinking it was worthless. Luckily, he hadn't gotten rid of the garbage yet, and was able to dig it out and sell it to me for an awesome price. He just didn't realize people collected old video games and assumed it was just obsolete electronics like a tape deck or an old computer, and had no value. --- End quote --- So he pulled the stuff out of the trash and then had the gall to sell it to you?! |

He brought out an Atari 6 switch, 2 joysticks, 2 paddles, about a dozen games, and a cool matching storage case/dust cover. Even though he didn't know it was worth anything it still had value to me so I was happy to give him a few bucks. He probably would have given it to me for free but I wanted to give him something for such an awesome find. |
