I think that was when there where no quality verification, when the page was created. The sad part is that I think that it's impossible to delete that cover

Well make this thread its new home to point out TERRIBLE covers so we can make something to replace it FAST, because.... I mean... ANYTHING... is better than that

There are a bunch of covers on the main site that should be removed. I understand they are from a different time, but they cause so much confusion with new users who see these crappy old covers and don't understand why their better submissions are rejected. Of course, a clear explanation somewhere on the main page or the upload page as to what the actual requirements are for acceptable covers would be very helpful as well, but I digress. A list of covers in need of replacing would be nice, but I think just removing the bad covers and sending them to mediafire or a box account is a better solution. New users searching for a cover shouldn't find something like that Vigilante 8 one on the main site, it gives the wrong impression. And the fact that covers are not dated adds to the difficulty of sorting the quality submissions of the last few years from the mixed bag of old uploads. Just my two cents!

Unfortunately, we can't delete covers posted to the main database. If we could, we'd go on a deleting rampage. Back in 2006, when the site first started, there were no standards and it was like that for years. Luckily, we've replaced the larger volume of covers from that period. However, hundreds still remain.
Remake the cover, and submit it. And send me a personal message that it's intended to replace the old one on the site.
