CGC - Game Gear Case

Hello all!

Yes, I am drowning in life right now.... >.< I'm getting close to getting a grip on it all here in about 2 weeks. I am going to stick on my calendar in 2 weekends to force myself to say in a locked room and get the GameGear cases up. I have them.... and they've been sitting here way too long I gotta get them on the site ASAP.

Just on a personal note to everyone: I'm re-structuring my life budget and my Wife and I both agree that I need to position myself to get out of my day job and focus my time and energy on the game cases. For the last 6-8 months I feel like I'm constantly behind with it. (Even though I put in at least 5 hours a night at it) The game cases are only bringing in about 40% of my monthly needed budget. (And we have 7 kids.... so there's a massive overhead  and responsibility list to go with all this.)

But I LOVE doing the cases and I LOVE launching new ones as well. So I'm juggling both jobs at the moment. (Which it has always been that way) But I think it is close to the time to take it to the next level and what we can make happen.

So in about 6 months or so my plan is to dedicate 100% of my day towards game cases. But in the mean time I'm drowning. lol

Good luck man. It can be scary trying to turn a passion into a career, but if you can do it, it's totally worth it. I wish you the best.

Started working on a new template for these cases. To test sizing, I rebuilt Tails Adventure with the new template. Not retail accurate but pretty close.

That's awesome to hear! Hopefully you'll be far less stressed and much happier with the change.

If you do ramp up with the cases, I have a suggestion of GameCube cases. No one online seems to be doing them. It'd be nice to have someone reputable for those. Single- and double-disc cases are only really found by buying old games with cases and just using the cases. Or giving in and using standard DVD cases. I could see an audience there (me, for one haha).

The folks at toyhax.com might be able to offer some tips on turning a niche hobby/side business into a primary job. Their business is also built around printing, too! They make aftermarket stickers for Transformers toys.

I good friend of mine (Spence here on the site) has come along side and has been helping me with the website side of things since I'm still catching up with the daily standard game case orders. It's going well for sure.

I don't have an EXACT time and day for launch, but I'll be making a 'Newsletter" for it from my site once we do. Spence has been working insanely hard with it all; if we (he) works over the weekend we could be seeing a launch as soon as Sunday-Tuesday! If not, it should be by next weekend.  But hat tip to Spence!
