I was able to grab this CIB set of genesis controllers off eBay for around $75 shipped. I love collecting genesis controllers, so this was a pretty nice find for me, as I've never seen the Striker in box before.  I tested some stuff, but it's such a pain forcing these wires back in the boxes that some stuff like the turbo touches I'm happy just leaving them in there and not taking them out.

I was also at a local game store and saw this...

It was marked as an NES controller and priced at $5.  Looking it up on my phone, it's an average 3rd party stick...but....

This is not an NES controller.  It's the much less common (and subsequently more expensive) Master System variant.  So I was more than happy to add this to my collection as well.   :D

That Beeshu Master System controller is so strange! It seems like it'd be awkward to control with the joystick in the middle like that. And the A and B buttons on both sides...an attempt at making a ambidextrous controller or some kind of two player arrangement? I love seeing weird third-party peripherals like this! There's always something else to collect.

That Beeshu controller is in stellar condition. Those are very hard to come by.

Nice yard sale score. Blip isn't technically an electronic game, it's some sort of mechanical toy. Really neat find anyway; I love finding games older than I am.

That Casper game is actually pretty fun.  I've only played the 3DO version, but I'm pretty sure the PS1 copy is the same game.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Another couple knocked off the list...

Is folklore rare or desirable?  Was a bit expensive for an old Ps3 game...

Anyway, time to start the annual F&F marathon...

Anybody on here trade in their collection? Found these at a local store with covers already made along with about 100 more GBA games. I paid about what they go for loose but i don't have to worry about casing them up now.

I know a lot of stores that will print out covers for some of their games to make them more attractive to buyers.  Most of the time, they are still pricing the game as loose, so they really aren't making money off the covers on this site.  They are just using the covers to sell their games a little quicker.

I definitely don't think that is the case here, the cases are all cut slightly inside to keep from bulging when a GBA game is inserted. Just seems like a lot of work if you aren't going to charge more money. These titles were all featured on some YouTube videos also for hidden gems or 3D games for GBA. I'm pretty sure it was a collector even if it wasn't necessarily someone who visits these forums.

I could be someone just got a few games off of eBay or etsy also and this is how they got them and then just traded them in.
You wouldn't believe the cool things I've seen at pawn shops just because someone needed a quick fix few bucks.
