Not my favorite Game Boy game, but probably my favorite classic-style Donkey Kong game. All the added game mechanics made it a very competent puzzle platformer. I hadn't thought about this little game in years! I practically wore out my Super Game Boy with this back in the day. Finding the keys, building ladders, the variety of settings, oh boy! Gotta go, now I need to check eBay. |

I don't know, maybe if I gave it some more thought, I would come up with another GB game I like better, but it's certainly near the top of that list. And it's definitely one of the better games that I never hear mentioned in anyone's "best of" lists. The same can be said for most of the games in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series, especially the one for the GBA. |
