I picked up Kung Fu Heros and Skate or Die the other day for 50 cents each. They were in rough shape so I took them apart and cleaned them good. There was mud inside the case. Needless to say the labels were shit. So I took them off and and now need replacement labels. Does anyone have them or could scan them for me?

Thanks

I've got copies of both games and will try scanning them this weekend if nobody beats me to it. I'm not quite sure how to scan the top of the label, but will give it a go. Anybody have the official NES label dimensions (or better yet a template) in order to piece together the two scans?

I got the scans done over the weekend and got the first one put together this evening. Took longer than I thought, but I think it came out well. I'll try and get to Skate or Die tomorrow. I added an image of my initial scan for comparisons sake. Enjoy!

Thanks e_brugal!

did a bit of work to clean it up further

Fantastic work sheep, I'm guessing you vectorized it in Illustrator? Looks good enough to be submitted to the main site!

Thanks guys that looks so great.

You're very welcome, I'm almost done with Skate or Die as well.

I just noticed the one thing Sheep2001 changed that I'm not crazy about is the top logo. I had moved the larger logo up there as well, but the black outline of the letters is so much different from the original scan I changed it back. Also, the original top had the black rectangle around the logo, not the yellow one. The changes look better on the screen, but printed out, I fear a lot of that fine black detail will be lost. Plus, I always prefer to keep things as close to retail as possible, but I know that there's varying opinions on that. I still think Sheep very much improved the cover artwork and company logo though! I was going to make a third version with a from scratch top logo, Sheep's improved cover art and company logo, and restore the original retail arrangement of the text, seal, and front game logo, but it occurred to me I was creating a lot of work for a minor label request, so I'll just leave it as is.

Anyway, here's the second requested label for you Big Chew. Hopefully this will make your games look like new again!

Yes I am sure they will. I notice the black box but I am ok with it. It looks much better than what I was able to come up help. Thank you all for the help.

Sheep, that's amazing! Your work never fails to impress. Definitely gives a graphic design hack like me something to aspire to. Did you rebuild the label from scratch in Illustrator? Any recommended tutorials or video series for someone like me looking to elevate their skills to the next level? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just incredibly inspired by your excellent work!

And also: Happy Birthday!

thanks for the kind words and birthday wishes - unfortunately I'm no illustrator whizz.  I've tried it and I suck.  I get confused and frustrated by it.

I actually use just photoshop, and vector magic where the graphics are simple enough.  Usually requires some hand drawing afterwards, as it's not as clever as illustrator,
