I will now. I have absolutely zero electronic skills.  So once the flash boards become available, I may invest in a few (along with the retro blaster) to be able to make a few repros I want.  Without having to take time I don't have to learn how to do it the "real" way.

I'm definitely buying a board + the flash tool (retro blaster). By the way, they are available. According to their website, this was posted on April 12 "The N64 Blaster boards and the RetroBlaster programmer are now available for sale!! Both are in very limited quantities until we build up stock."

All of his products are garbage.  I've got dozens of his SNES boards sitting in my shop, busted and useless.

There's a really solid N64 board coming out very soon though. I'd wait for that.

Yeah, I see the N64 stuff is available, but I'm not interested in that one so much.  It's the SNES and NES ones I really want.  So that'll be exciting when they come in.

Buy a flash cart. 
Put one game ROM on it.
Put a label for that game on the cart.

I'm interested in this too. I have a couple repros I'd like only for myself. Wiggy, have you tried his N64 boards?

There are a few games I specifically want physical copies of (FF7 NES, Castlevania 2 radacted, Secret of Mana 2 etc.) but don't feel like paying asking prices

In the same sort of situation. I already have a flash cart for N64 (ED64 V3), but I want a physical copy of some ROMs.

If you want easy, then go with the infinite NES lives boards.  You flash them with a programmer that is available on the site. The only thing you'll need to solder is a battery clip, though he may do that for you if you ask.

If you want a board with the ability to do a LOT more, then the boards on Mortoff games are the way to go. But, you'll need to solder and be able to program EPROMs (27C322 and/or 27C160).

Just wait on the N64 stuff, seriously. I haven't used the retrostage boards, but I've been made well aware of s number of flaws that they have.  It's not really a shock to me, considering all the other boards I've purchased from that site are just awful quality, and those don't even include logic. If you can't get a bare PCB board right, then it's hard to imagine a fully populated flash memory board from the same fellow being any good.

I have been wanting to do stuff like this for a while now. I can solder a little but I am no pro. I would like to have fan hacks on a cartridge.

You don't need crazy soldering skills to make repros. The soldering is generally really easy and straightforward.
