Eurogamer claims to have found the reason why Nintendo stopped selling the NES Classic Mini.

Apperantly Nintendo is going to replace it with the SNES Mini, that will be released later this year.

Yeah, I saw that too.

Well, for me it will be the same mind set as before.

I refuse to wait in line or camp out for one
I refuse to pay more than MSRP
I refuse to pre-order one

If I can walk into a store on my lunch break and pick one up, I will buy it.  Otherwise, I simply won't own one (nor will I care).
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I thought Nintendo forgot the SNES happened. Whenever merch for 16-bit comes up, it's Sega Genesis. Nintendo merch never acknowledges their 16-bit era.

Ha, you and everyone else :-\

The news of the SNES Classic is just salt in the would. If the concept was so successful that it immediately spawned a "sequel", then I'm even further pissed and baffled.  Plus, now we have to look forward to the instant scalping that will happen with the SNES, since everyone already knows how it'll end.

I love me some Nintendo, but this is just bizarre bullshit IMO.
