Hey Guys/Gals,

I have been debating sharing this here but I have decided to as TheCoverProject feels like a second home to me.

My mother passed away on Saturday March 18th from complications of a brain bleed.

My mom had a kidney transplant about 10 years ago. It bought us some precious time with her but not without complications. My mom has been in and out of the hospital various times throughout those ten years, quite rampant the last 3 years. Her new kidney has low function and she had to get put back on dialysis. Last year she had a stroke and a triple bi-pas open heart surgery on separate occasions. She would go through peaks and valleys feeling well and feeling awful. I just had lunch with her one week ago (a time which I now cherish as it was the last time I was with her while she was alive).

My father works his ass off and breaks his back for my family and the woman he loved. He has worked as a manual laborer for two construction companies since 1994 and still works there even into his 50s. Even though his body can't handle it any longer, it is the only thing he can do to pay for the outrageous medical bills and medical coverage. He pays ~$700 a month in insurance and my mom was dropped from medicare.  The numerous hospital visits are only partially covered by insurance so long story short, he has no money. (I gave him a few thousand dollars but it is just a drop in the bucket at this point). She had life insurance but unfortunately was required to cash it out a while back to take care of medical expenses.

I do not want to ask for a hand-out but if you would like a hand-in helping me it would be appreciated.
A family fiend of mine set up a page to try and help with burial costs (funeral home, plot, headstone, church, obituary, etc.) not including medical bills.

If you have a few bucks and are willing, thank you. If you don't I completely understand.

Love you guys,

- Seth (Shenske)

I'm sorry Seth  :(  I can see what I can do after work.  I can't begin to imagine what you are going through.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

So sorry to hear that Seth.  I know how awful a time you must be having.  :'(

My thoughts are with you.  Stay strong.  It might seem impossible at the moment, but it does get better, and you have those extra 10 years of memories to cherish.

I'm sorry for your loss.  You have my condolences.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
