Slim DVD Cases for Nintendo Manuals (NES/SNES/N64)

Hello everyone! This project began out of a desire to better store/display my Nintendo manuals (more specifically NES/SNES/N64). I use CGC's for GB/C/A, but like a lot of people, I do not have enough space to put all of my NES/SNES/N64 games in cases. I do, however, like to collect manuals for games which I particularly like. While brainstorming for ideas on how to store the manuals, I came up with this slim DVD case concept. These cases/covers are very simple. All that is required are some slim DVD cases (7mm (half the normal thickness)). The covers themselves can be printed on letter sized paper. The idea behind these covers is to be as simple as possible, so all of the covers are created using my template along with a UGC or CGC cover.

Here are some reasons why these cases are great!

  • A cartridge + a slim DVD case still takes up less room than a UGC or CGC.
  • You only need cases for the manuals you have! Don't take up the extra space unless you need to.
  • These help keep uniformity. All of your cartridges are uniformly lined up together. And all of your manuals can be uniformly lined up separately.
  • The cost is cheap. Even with expensive, high-end paper, these cost under $1 per case to make.
  • Here is the most important point. Not only do these cases store the manuals, they also display the game's artwork!

New pictures coming soon.

Existing covers can be found below in their appropriate section. Feel free to make requests for games which don't yet have covers.

I am currently not in need of any more covers personally, but if anyone else is using or planning on using these covers, feel free to request the covers you need. I don't mind making more for others.

you should make a mock "this is how they look on the shelf" by using Imandix.

I don't have the pro version so it doesn't look as sexy.  :P Plus I have had almost no feedback (yet people are downloading the covers).

Is anyone using or planning on using these covers? Let me know which ones you want/need. I will gladly make plenty more.

I will also be remaking quite a few of the covers using superior versions.

Do you have any for SNES and N64 Vertical covers?
and what do you recommend to use for Slim DVD cases?
