Suggestion: Have something to tell us if our covers are pending or rejected

I have alsways thought, that this is an unfair argument.
They demand high quality from their users, so they should hold themself to the same standards.
It takes like 2 minutes to send a generic message to multiple people at once, when their covers have been rejected. (Something like: "Your cover has been rejected for -insert reason-! Please take to the forums to get further feedback from the community.")
That is not much, but better then silence... ;)
And if time still is an issue - which is totally understandable - why is this just being accepted? Why don't we try to solve this?
Get more people involved?
Sort out inactive cover admins?
How many people would be needed?
How much workload is there a month?
How much can each cover admin handle?
This site really needs a lot more transparency.

Rofl.
RecOne:
Is it possible to extract some kind of report (for google spreadsheet or better on the site directly) where the upload requests can be visualized?
In this way the admins who check a certain cover could add a status (only one word per line) like "pending", "accepted", "refused" ?
Like:
Uploader / Date / System / Region / Name / Custom or Retail? / Cover Admin / Status
RecOne / 19.03.2017 / SNES / PAL / Mario Kart 17 / Retail / sheep2001 / Pending
In this way, nobody had to send PM's and there would be ONE place where everybody could check the current status > less questions + more info.
As side effect, the people could understand better that there might be a huge workload.
If i see "pending" - i know you haven't checked it yet
If i see "accepted" - fine i know it must be on the site in a few days(?)
If i see "refused" - i can have another look at my cover to try to understand why it has been refused

That sounds like a good idea.
Nintandbox has such a system aswell, where they list all the uploads und their current status. (Only accessible for registered users.)
I suggested private messages, because that does not require any further programming.
