| Dr.Agon:
Not sure where to put this, or even if anyone is interested, but I was Google-ing for some cover art, (for fun, yes I'm weird like that) and spotted a really nice scan, so went to the page and it turned out to be mobygames, now in the past scans from there were unusable due, at least in part, to the added water-mark, However it appears as though they have now removed this mark, at least it wasn't on the couple of covers I checked, how this helps us I'm not sure, the scans might still be too low res to work with, but it could open up a lot of scans too... usable/unusable, good/bad, I'd love to hear your thoughts! |

I use their images for placeholders all the time. Nothing that I know of @300dpi (site acceptable). |

I have been using mobygames mostly for reference when I was rebuilding a cover. Yes, sometimes you can find a more decent, high resolution image / scan on there. But most of their cover scans are of a very low resolution. I have been using this site for about 2 years now and never noticed any watermarks. If there ever were any, they must have been gone for quite a while now. ;) |

I googled it and apparently mobygames removed all the watermarks around May 2015. So almost 2 years ago. :) -> http://www.mobygames.com/forums/dga,2/dgb,4/dgm,209979/ |
