Perhaps not. You and everyone else should expect quality from my 5000th post  ;D

Do we get a prize when we reach it?  Not far off myself. Lol

Only two people know.

I would love to have all of those, but they are just way too cash-grabby for my taste.

I don't know if I would call those "cash grabs."  I have all of those as well, and ordered them when they were released.  I don't think I paid more than $25 for any of them, usually they were less than that on Amazon.  That's not too bad for a strategy guide in today's market.
Now if you tried to buy them NOW, yes, I can see how one wouldn't want to spend that kind of money.

What is this 'Reading' you speak of?

Seriously, though, they still make paperback versions - but I'm still surprised they bother to make guides at all.  I buy the Zelda guides, because, well, Zelda... but I've never. Been tempted to buy a guide for another game.  Gamefaqs usually has that need covered nicely.

I have both versions of Arts and Artifacts ordered (Amazon *says* shipping today).  Haven't ordered the Collector's version of BotW yet, but did the DX version.  Three versions, two aimed at collectors... it's obviously a huge money grab.  Gonna wait to bite the bullet on that second one (I know I will eventually...)

Gotta buy all of those.
Just ordered 3 of those chests.

The $25 you paid for the hardcover is still twice what you could have picked up the softcover version for if you had wanted. ;)

The Prima guides were nice, but they did things to really hurt the overall line.  The Skyward Sword was a trainwreck of information, so much so that they reworked and re-released it for the box set down the road.  The books were of uneven lengths (from spine to opening length), the guilded edges weren't used on all the books,  TriForce Heroes didn't even get the freakin' name printed on the spine.  The box set (conveniently announced right after the Hyrule Historia CE nabbed so much press) was the only way to get the OoT3D hardcover, the only way to get the corrected Skyward Sword guide, didn't include the Link Between Worlds guide that released at the same time, and (which is okay, really) didn't include all the cool extras that made the hardcovers special (cloth maps and such).  I am sad to see Prima lose the line for some kind of consistency, but hoping these new guys do something nice with it.
