Where to get colored DVD cases?
Madducky:
Thanks for all of the help!
Are original xbox cases just getting harder to find nowadays?
If worse comes to worse, I'll get sports games and use their cases.

I believe there are licensing issues.
Many cases carry the brand-logos (xbox, playstation, etc.) and are made after patented designs from Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo.
Amaray is bound by whatever license agreement they have with these companies.
They cannot just mass produce and offer original cases however they like. :)
Maybe Microsoft does not want them to sell replacement cases seperately. Or maybe the license fee for xbox cases is too high.
That is probably why they produce non-original cases, that have the same size, but a slightly different design, colour and no copyrighted logos.

You bring up a valid point. Some cases like PS2, and XBONE cases do have the logo on them, but the original XBOX doesn't have a logo anywhere. It is just a standard Amaray DVD case in green.

^^^ well, in that instance, I'd wager that it's a simple matter of viability. The original Xbox wasn't very successful, so it's hard to imagine that there's a significant enough market to warrant continued production of those specific poly cases.

I just found a site that sells quite a few colored dvd cases and ordered some white and blue cases. They also have some green, but I'm not sure that it's the same color as the OG Xbox...but worst comes to worst, you could just move all your games over to these, maybe?
