I've been selling off 75% of my collection. I'll update this thread once I'm done screwing with my collection.

Very nice.  I love that TV stand that matches the Sony TV.  I would love to find that someday as I have the same TV.

Also, my brother had that exact same CD player/stereo that you have.  Haven't seen that in forever.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Yeah I got the TV and stand for $40 from a somewhat local older lady. It has the original remote, original manual, AND the original assembly manual for the STAND! She was also the original owner, which is neat. I had to drive a total of a 5 hour round trip for it, but it was worth it  ;D.

And as for the stereo system, yeah it's an older one. It was actually my grandfathers which he used at work. It actually improves the sound quality of older games a LOT. I can quite easily hear directional sound. I use it solely for aux audio.

I didn't even know that controller exists. Looks sweet. I have a rcg gba. I thought about selling because I never play but can't bring myself to do it. I love having one videogame device that uses replaceable batteries.

I don't know if I could drive that fart for a TV stand, but as long as it works for you.  :D

And as far as the stereo, I remember my brother's system sounding really good.  I would still prefer traditional home theater equipment, but for what it is, you can't go wrong.

I drove that far for the TV + the stand. I wouldn't drive that far solely for a stand  ;). And yeah, I would also prefer a home theater setup, but I can't justify taking up that much space. I already have a full home theater setup for modern usage. I do plan at some point upgrading, but it's hard to justify considering the lower quality audio of older systems.
