Let's say that I've been away from herefor pretty much 2 weeks because of the game.

That's funny, because I was just thinking about that.  You hadn't posted since March 3rd............. wonder why?  8)

Anyone still playing?  I can't believe how much I'm still enjoying this game.

I finished shrine number 120 last night.  The bonus for completing all of the shrines is pretty cool, but I won't spoil it.

I'm going to focus on finishing up the rest of the side quests now (I'm about half way).

I'm only missing 6 armor pieces (not counting Amiibo unlocks), so I might as well try to get the rest of those.  I don't think I will ever get everything upgraded 4 times, but I want to upgrade everything AT LEAST twice.

I also have a little over 300 korok seeds.  I don't think I will ever try to find all 900, but it's my goal to get enough to max out all of my inventory, which is somewhere around 450 or so.

Oh, and eventually, I should probably go fight Ganon too.

***EDIT***
I'm somewhere around 120 hours into the game.

I think I put about 140 hours in before I was finally satisfied.  I think I'll eventually go back and do the house thing or whatever, but otherwise I personally don't have any other reason to play.  Completed all shrines, have about 200 korok seeds, which is more than enough for me, have all of the armor sets that I want, and am able to squash the nastiest of Lynel with little effort.

I really do hate those guys.  It seems odd to me that the most difficult enemy to fight in the game isn't even technically a mini boss.  I can fight any mini boss with my eyes closed, but I still have to concentrate a little to fight the big Lynels with the higher HP.

I put in maybe 60 hours then stopped. I plan to revisit it at some point, but I've gotten busy with other stuff. I reached a point where the optional stuff was far less 'obvious'. But I realistically have less than 50% of the side stuff done. The game is just packed.

Still playing. I seem to have spent a ton of time just generally goofing around, talking to NPC's, and exploring. I like to just explore in these types of games until I feel like continuing the quest. All-in-all, I'm still having a blast.  ;D
To be this good it takes AGES!

I got this on release day on Wii U since I didn't preorder a Switch and I played about 20 hours in but stopped because I just got sucked in for hours every time I turned it on. I finally got a Switch this weekend and played for about 6 hours today trying to get back to where I was on Wii U. I can't believe how easy it was to get side tracked with all the little things to do even though it was only 2 months ago that I had already played through the beginning of the game. It's just so much fun to explore.

The Legend of Zelda: oh crap, what's that over there?!  Better go check it out before I, um, where was I going before?  I should have set a damn marker on the map to remind myself. Oh well. The wild.

Ok, I'm going to destroy Ganon and save Hyrule.  But first, this other guy wants me to find him 10 restless crickets, so I'm going to make that a priority first.  Ok, I've found 3 of the crickets, but wait, what's that?  A small group of creatures sitting around a fire cooking a meal, and not bothering anyone.  I think i will go kill them and take their supplies and gear.  OK, back to the crickets.  But wait, that tree looks funny like it might have a korok seed.  Ok got it, but I'm not that far from the peak of that mountain, and there are usually seeds at the peaks of some mountains, so let's go up there.  Ok, I've climbed the mountain, but there was no seed.  Damn.  But from here I can now see all sorts of shit that looks interesting, so lets go this way and check it out.  Now a small boy wants me to make a barrel float with balloons.  This is important, so Ganon can wait.  Well that's done.  Can't believe that kid was willing to pay that many rupees to see a barrel float.  What a sucker.  Now this bird with an accordion wants me to stand naked on a pedestal and wait for a blood moon.  Makes sense.  Who wouldn't do that?   ...............three weeks later............ well that was a fun shrine quest.  Ok, what was I doing again?  Something about stopping an evil force before his power grows.  Seems time sensitive, but first I should pick some apples from this tree.

How did you know what I did from March 3rd to the end of the month??

Well, sort of on a whim, I decided to head to Hyrule Castle and take on Ganon last night.  Great ending to the game.  I loved the castle design and music.  The fight with Ganon was epic, despite not being too difficult.  Now that I've completed the game, I still want to wrap up a few other things like finishing the rest of the side quests, and finding the rest of the armor items.  I also want to get all of the mini boss medals, and I know that they don't become available until after you complete the game.  What I'm not sure about is whether or not I have to start over in killing all of the mini bosses, or if the game will already know which ones I completed the first time around.  I know I killed all 4 Moldugas before completing the game, so I will check to see if I can get that medal right away or if I have to fight all 4 of them again.

Also, I did start the game again just to see my map completion.  It was around 48%.  Not bad for first time through.  Still a lot of korok seeds out there.

The very first thing I completed was the map.  It was super important to me for some reason.

As a heads-up, there's an extended ending if you find all of the "memories" :)

I completed all of the memories before beating it for the first time, so the ending I saw is the only one I've ever seen.  I didn't realize I was getting anything extra.

Wait, we might not be talking about the same thing, because to "complete" the map, or get 100%, you need all 900 korok seeds (plus several other things).  I was referring to the map completion percentage that appears on the map after the game has been beaten once.

Oh no, I simply meant unlocking all of the towers. It seems like a lot of folks didn't prioritize that. I thought that's what you were referring to.
