I'm optimistic but waiting for the dust to settle a little. Looks cool and has a solid launch lineup. --- End quote --- Quite solid indeed! Just the launch titles (+announced ones) are more than enough for me to play until the next console. I have little time to play, and Zelda probably has a nice replay value. Add a handfull of Dragon Quest RPGs on top of that and I'm good for quite a while! |

I love the design of the Switch and the whole thing was absolutely amazing when it was first announced, I planned on waiting outside of a store to buy this thing (I've never done this before)!.. Now though, I think I might wait a bit. The price tag of the console wasn't so bad at first, I expected a pack-in game to tide a user over after spending $300. Then there was no pack-in. Then there were $80 controllers. I might wait for a bundle or something now. I LOVE the hardware and trust Nintendo just as much as when I bought my 3DS at launch, but between the total cost of the console with games and the lack of games at launch I might have to think. I WILL be getting one, I just don't know when. --- End quote --- 2 controllers. You get 2 for $80. |

But it would take 4 controllers to play 2-Player ARMS. I think of the Joycons as one controller that splits. |

I had plans of going to GameStop early on Friday to preorder it because I have a feeling it's going to be hard to find at launch but after watching the presentation I was not very impressed. Zelda looks amazing but I can get it the same day on my Wii U. I'm sure I'll get it eventually because I usually get every system within a year of launch and Nintendo always makes great games (Mario looks great too!) |
